Make the ad

Educational only. Not legal, tax or financial advice. Ad costs are industry ranges, not quotes: your results will differ. Meta changes its screens often: if a button name doesn't match, look for the same setting nearby. Updated Oct 18, 2026.

Here's the four-part ad that works for local jobs.

  1. The first line names their situation, not your skills. "Bought the brake pads but nervous about doing them yourself?" beats "Experienced mechanic available."
  2. The promise. Done WITH you, a flat price, Protected payment.
  3. Your price and your town.
  4. One button, to your Offer — Book Now or Learn More.

Pictures and video

Use real photos of your own work — hands doing the job, good light. No logos you don't own, no plates, no customers' faces without their OK; car work shown safe. For video, 6 to 15 seconds, captions on.

What gets beginners rejected

Calling out personal traits, before-and-after promises, fake reviews, or a price that doesn't match your page.
