Be one of the first 25 Guides on AlongSide.
You already know the thing your neighbors keep asking about. Founding Guides get paid for it with no AlongSide fee for a year, and they get first claim on the Stands where people are already waiting.
What Founding Guides get
Keep 100% of your Session price: no AlongSide Guide fee, and top placement when Members are matched with Guides. Normally $99/mo.
Your profile shows you were one of the first 25 Guides on AlongSide. It stays after the year ends.
For your Founding year, your Offers show at the top of AroundTown.
When a Stand opens in your skill, Founding Guides who apply are reviewed first.
Who it's for
The person people already call about their car, their kitchen, their drywall or their mower. Credentialed or self-taught, you're honest about what you know and you'd rather work beside someone than take the job off their hands. Done-with-you, or done-for-you when they ask.
The fine print
- Founding Guide spots are limited to 25. AlongSide reviews every application and approves Guides by hand; applying doesn't guarantee a spot.
- Guide Premium is free for 12 months from the day you're approved. After that your plan returns to Free unless you choose a paid plan. Nothing is charged automatically.
- Members still pay their normal service fee. Payment processing and payouts work the same as for every Guide.
- The badge and your Founding number stay on your profile for as long as your account is open and in good standing.
