Your first 3 Sessions matter more than any others, because they start your Record. Here's where they come from.
1. Invite someone you already know
You already have people who ask you for help. Instead of doing it in the driveway for a six-pack, run it through AlongSide.
Use Invite someone you know. You agree the terms right there, text them the link, and the Session is confirmed the moment they accept. Their payment is protected, you get paid properly, and it counts toward your Record.
2. Use Launch Jobs if you want them
In your settings you can turn on Launch Jobs: your first few Sessions at $0, to earn your first reviews. You choose which Sessions are Launch Jobs; Members can't request one. Reviews from these Sessions are labeled as free Sessions, so everything stays honest.
This is optional. If you'd rather charge from day one, charge from day one.
3. Answer Asks near you
Members post Asks on AroundTown when they need a hand with a job. When one fits your Offer, respond. Be specific about how you'd work it with them and at which Level.
On the day
Print the first-Session checklist and use it. Confirm the plan, check safety first, let them keep their hands on the job, and wrap up with what they should do next time.
Ask for the review
When the Session wraps, both of you review each other. Ask for it plainly. The review-ask card printout gives you the words if you need them.
