The Course

Patching a hole is easy. Making it disappear is the skill. Members practice on real wall sections: patching every size of hole, taping, feathering, matching texture, then painting and installing trim so the room looks finished, not fixed.

What Members walk away able to do

  • Choose and set the right patch for any hole
  • Tape, mud and feather in thin coats
  • Match smooth, orange-peel and knockdown textures
  • Cut in and roll paint without lap marks
  • Measure, cut and install baseboard and casing

Draft outline

A starting point. You shape the final version with us.

  1. Week 1 — Patches by size, taping and first coats
  2. Week 2 — Feathering, sanding and texture matching
  3. Week 3 — Primer, paint and clean cut lines
  4. Week 4 — Trim: measuring, coping, nailing and caulk

Who we're looking for

  • A finisher, painter or remodeler with years of work behind them
  • Good at showing technique slowly, by hand
